Our Western Denmark Study Tour started with meeting at 7:30 to get on the bus. There were only a few late people but we got on our way. The first stop was a traditional Danish church in a small town. The next stop was a ferry ride across to the second largest city in Denmark, Århus. We had a tour of City Hall and walked to the top of the tower to get a view of Århus. Then we went to Aros, a modern art museum. We actually got to stay in a hotel, not a hostel, that looked like a a cabin in an overnight train.

yay for field trips. I still think it is so cool that your program makes your travel. how better to learn about a place and its architecture than to actually see it. arhus looks beautiful. if you're like me, you'll be glad to have copenhagen as your home base after all the little and big trips you go on. a home away from home.
