Trip to Netto

Today was the first day someone at the grocery store spoke English to me. The cashier usually doesn't talk to you except to tell you the price and to ask if you would like a receipt. My total was 107kr and all I had was a 200kr (worth $40) and a 50kr (worth $10). I handed the man my 200kr bill and he asked me a question in Danish and of course I didn't understand. He finally said it in English that he wanted me to give him some coins so he didn't have to break my bill. I obliged and gave him 207 but my streak of getting through the grocery store without English has been broken :(
