The past days have been busy with architecture projects. Luis and I escaped for a few hours and went to visit and area called Christiania. It started as an area where hippies lived. The government let them take over the land as a social experiment but it has gotten a little out of control lately. The Danish Government has tried to enforce their laws on the small area but they continue to live in their commune without laws. It was quite interesting to see. On the way there we saw some men playing polo in kayaks on the river.

Water polo in kayaks! That's awesome :) If only they had horses instead.. that would be amazing. But pretty cool nonetheless. So a hippie commune, eh? I hope you didn't get sucked in! That's funny the govt just lets them do whatever.
ReplyDeletesounds like an interesting area. my parents would like that haha. I went kayaking for the first time recently. it's pretty awesome, but my arm muscles are, um, lacking. yay for more adventures. I'm sure you are super busy with school work (tis the nature of architecture). are you liking your classes?
